The 3 mm thick blade of the Lobo Machete was made of 1075 high carbon steel for maximum stability. The steel has been heat treated and has a Rockwell hardness of 56 HRC. The blade finish is natural. The cutting edge is ground and polished by hand.
The handle scales are made of black and white micarta and are attached to the full tang blade with 2 solid brass eyelets. The handle material Micarta is insensitive to environmental influences and improves the grip at the same time. At the end of the handle there is a sturdy brass lanyard eyelet.
A gray kydex sheath with a leather belt loop is included.
