The Koala has a very traditional drop point design, hollow ground utilitarian blade, which is ideal for majority of small tasks in the bush or at home. This particular Joker model Koala uses the slip joint semi-lock system to secure the blade. Whilst this allows easy closing of the blade caution must be taken when using so not to unintentionally close the blade and cause harm.
The blade is thinner and shallower than the cocker but has a similar semi-drop point shape. The handle is nicely curved to compensate for the natural curves of the hand, therefore the knife is very comfortable to use. The methylcrylate scale handle is smooth and is really vibrant in direct sunlight comprising a 'mother of pearl' effect.
